WORK PROCESS
PROCESS OF REPAIR
Once a leak has been identified, the focus shifts to determining the most effective repair method. Leaks NZ is equipped with a range of developed processes and possesses the necessary tools to address and repair leaks, regardless of their origin.
EPOXY INJECTION A method where epoxy resin is injected into the leaking area to seal and reinforce.
PIPE RELINING Involves placing a new lining inside the existing pipe to repair leaks without excavation.
SPOT REPAIR Fixing a specific damaged section of the pipe without replacing the entire line.
SLEEVE REPAIR Placing a sleeve or lining around a damaged pipe to reinforce and prevent leaks.
CLAMP OR WRAP SYSTEMS Using clamps or wraps to secure and seal leaks in pipes.
EXCAVATION AND PIPE REPLACEMENT Digging up and replacing the damaged section of the pipe.
HOT TAPPING Creating a connection on a pressurized system without shutting it down.
COLD WELDING Using a specialized compound to create a strong, durable seal on leaks.
HYDRAUTIC CEMENT Applying a fast-setting cement to seal leaks in various materials.
SOLDERING OR WELDING Repairing leaks in metal pipes by melting and fusing the material.

Assuming you cannot identify the leak yourself, book an appointment for us to inspect the leak. Taps we can inspect, repair or replace include:
- Basin and sink tapware (kitchen and bathroom)
- Bath Taps including diverter mixers
- Shower Taps, sprays and dumpers including Shower mixers and diverters.

Identify the Leak
Assuming you cannot identify the leak yourself, book an appointment for us to inspect the leak. Taps we can inspect, repair or replace include:
